Donate & Support Meditate Marquette

Meditate Marquette, a non-profit organization, sponsors many opportunities for individuals to engage in contemplative practices. Retreats are one form of opportunity. The hosts for the day donate their time for the day, for all preparation, and disassembling at the end of the day.

Donations are accepted to continue the infrastructure that allows Meditate Marquette to provide these opportunities.

Please consider giving an amount that reflects the value of this service to you. Some of the funds collected may pay for the space used for the event.

Organizational Needs

Contemplative Practice Teachers

See the Contemplative Tree to see what may be offered.

Collaborating with Meditate Marquette to teach programs and courses introduces the teacher to new communities. Collaboration can lead to developing curricula and business practices that support a teacher’s personal development plan. Teachers may also link with one or more mentors and support teachers' development across the organization.

Meditation Drop-in Session Hosts

Hosts serve weekly drop-in meditation sessions, retreats, and collaborative sessions such as 4Cs.

Hosting meditation sessions allows individuals to bring the benefits of their practices into community. Hosts can offer practices that are important to them, introducing an audience to new experiences. Hosting can be an opportunity to serve contemplative practices consistent with the wisdom tradition practiced by the Host. Hosts may connect with mentors, teachers, and peers and share relationships that serve to deepen practice.

As a self-management organization, all individuals serving Meditate Marquette in its evolutionary purpose direct the amount they serve.
